Freidke Nian Ci Panda Kuper Shi Berman was born at Toronto's North York General Hospital on Sunday, May 27, at 7:47 am. For those who like statistics, she weighed 4115 grams (9.1 pounds) and was 51 cm (20.1 inches) in length at birth.

This newest addition to our family has certainly changed Sarah's and my life significantly but, so far, we are happy to report that it has been for the better.

Our little Panda has already reminded us of the importance of family in many ways.

 She has brought a bright light into our home and represents our next generation and the continuation of our lives and dreams.

Her care, especially in the first two weeks has been greatly assisted by many members of our family, especially Panda's two pairs of Grandparents; without whom Sarah and I cannot imagine getting any sleep at all or retaining much of our sanity. We have learned that raising a new child is very much a team effort and we are ever so grateful to all those who have helped us out along the way.
